An old ruined building looks sad and abandoned. We pass by every day and when we close our eyes, we can see it alive – with open doors and spectators coming in. Our dream stage… Is it going to come true?
Yes! We want to have our own theatre!

The Bielsko Artistic Association Grodzki Theatre

The industrial heritage building complex (a former textile factory) in Bielsko-Biała (Poland) was entrusted to our care by the Mayor of the city in 2004. We have renovated three floors and established a Vocational Rehabilitation Unit and Occupational Therapy Workshop in one of the buildings. The restoration of another building which belongs to the above mentioned complex is the next strategic stage in the development of our association. We have already started raising funds to restore the decaying remains of an old machine room (photo).
A range of preparatory actions, including an inventory of the property, have been completed.
However, a substantial funding support is urgently needed to take the next step towards building a real stage for our statutory actions.
